Cresswood Wood Grinders
The "Cresswood Destroyer" has been a staple in the woodworking industry for 20 years. Our “destroyer” series of wood solutions promise durability and performance. The product portfolio includes hopper feed grinders and horizontal end-feed shredders.
Hopper Feed VS. End Feed
The hopper feed grinders facilitate “dump and go” operation that saves on resource utilization substantially. This type of load in gives the operation freedom to collect material from many points, and vector them to the central grinding location. Custom sized hoppers allow for large collection capability at the grinder.
The end-feed grinders are fit for in-line production situation where wood waste management is needed, including cabinet and furniture manufacturing. With end feed grinding, the machine is best suited in line with the production process. The advantages include less material handling and instant reduction of material.
Plastic Shredders and Granulators
Our plastic solutions are widely used across plastic reclaim and recycling applications. With the ability to grind whole purges, the Cresswood Shredder sets itself apart from other plastic reclaim and recycling machinery. These are robust machines custom manufactured with an integrated "V-Rotor shredding system. The plastic shredders are engineered for ease of operations and optimal throughput with the ability to recover large and oversized material.
The granulators efficiently reduce plastic to 1/2" minus giving the operator the ability to re-introduce the material into the plastics line.
